The National Aviary in Pittsburgh

The National Aviary is America’s only independent indoor nonprofit zoo dedicated exclusively to birds. Located in Allegheny Commons Park on Pittsburgh’s historic North Side, the National Aviary’s diverse collection comprises more than 500 birds representing more than 150 species from around the world, many of them threatened or endangered in the wild.

Pittsburgh is one of my favorite places to go on a short road trip. Very diversified lots of things to do and visit and IKEA stop is a must. This time we found a new place to visit and it is called The National Aviary and admissions are priced and it is worth the visit especially for kids. What we liked in this place is you can walk around (indoor) and you get to see all these wonderful and colorful birds are flying or feeding around you.

Here are few pictures from my Nikon.
