DIY Python Series – 3 videos on Linear Regression Basics, Machine Learning Model Builder and Azure Data Studio Notebook for Python

Finally, today I had managed to create and publish 3 videos for this topic.  I have include all the links to the datasets, SQL Scripts and Notebooks I have used in these examples for you to download and practice at your own pace. More videos on the way. I hope this will help someone to get a basic idea of  Applied Data Science.

Entire topic is divided into 3 videos.  In my 4th video (yet to be published)  my plan is to explain multi variable regression and Analytical Base Tables to add more features for more accurate predictions.

Primary goal is to use all the Free Tools available for Data Science and Machine Learning experiments.

  1. Linear Regression Basics – Intro to Scatter Chart, Trendline, Model equation and R-Squared value to interpret Prediction Accuracy
  2. Using Tools like Azure Data Studio to create Notebooks
  3. Machine Learning Model Builder using ML.Net and compare prediction results with Python Linear Regression model using Azure Data Studio Notebook

Good thing about the videos, you can always skip certain parts of the video or watch as many times you need. I recommend that you follow the order of the videos (Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3) to get the complete context of the topic. My goal for this topic was to explain these concepts with live examples, hand-on code demos and most importantly use multiple tools.
